02/06/2012 - New York, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love has been suspended two games for stomping on Houston's Luis Scola.

The incident occurred in the third quarter of the February 4 game when Love drove his foot into the upper body of Scola, who was lying on the floor. The league office also upgraded the foul to a Flagrant Two.

Love will sit out Tuesday against Sacramento and Wednesday against Memphis. He leads the Wolves with averages of 25.0 points and 13.7 rebounds in 24 games this season.

The most interesting game of the opening week will feature the NFC champion Bears as they hit the road to take on the NFL’s top team during last year’s regular season, the San Diego Chargers.
